Vintage NOS Gillette GII Tandem razor – official TracII

Beautiful Gillette mechanical razor. It is a “GII” model, with a black plastic handle. The razor is brand new and unused, made in the 1970s. The packaging is a little worn, but still factory sealed. GII is the name of TracII for the european market.

Please note if you wish to use it: this version of the GII razor was at the time a test version, to facilitate access to this razor for customers who would later buy a standard model. As it was a test version, Gillette wanted it to be more economical, so it’s all plastic, without the usual metal reinforcement on the handle.

GII razors have long since disappeared from the shops, so this is a great opportunity to shave again with a GII razor.

Use Gillette GII / TracII and GII Plus / TracII Plus blades (sold separately, still easily available in supermarkets). We also sell blades compatible with this razor, see here.

To load a new double-blade cartridge, place the shaver head on its side and slide it into the rails behind the blades.
