Vintage Gillette Single Ring Safety Razor

Beautiful Gillette open-comb razor, three-piece with long screw, commonly known as a “Single Ring” from the Gillette Old Type series. The razor is all silver plated, it has had some experience (the usual hairline cracks are present) but can be used again without any problem. The razor was made in the USA for the French market (you can tell by the G in D stamp under the head).

The box is not original, it is definitely a frankenset, as it has been patched from two different boxes, but it is fun.

This razor can use modern standard double-edge safety razor blades.
