This safety razor is in good condition for its age. It is a vintage model called monobloc (turn-to-open type), from a set called #55, manufactured by Gillette in England in the 1950s, exclusively for the French market. This makes it a sought-after razor!
HD stands for “Heavy Duty”. Now that’s solid! It will be suitabe for beginners to traditional shaving, but also suitable for experienced shavers.
