This safety razor is in working condition. It is a beautiful vintage, one-piece model (also known as a ‘butterfly’ or ‘TTO’ for Turn To Open), manufactured by Gillette in 1960 (date code F4). With its thick handle, it’s nicknamed the ‘Fat Boy’! A real must-have.
‘Adjustable’ means it can be adjusted; it features an adjustment ring ranging from 1 (gentle) to 9 (aggressive), allowing you to enjoy nine different shaving experiences in one! Ideal for those new to traditional shaving, but of course it’s also perfect for experienced shavers.
The razor is nickel-plated; the plating is worn and has been removed by excessive polishing. The price reflects these imperfections. However, the razor is spotlessly clean and in perfect working order!
Both rings turn freely and work well; the doors open smoothly. A rare and sought-after model, ready to be put back into service!
