Antique Gillette razor, model nicknamed “Single Ring”, from the 1910s, in “Combination Set 00” box. The razor is worn, the teeth are straight, the silver plating is worn on the inside of the head, under the head and on the neck, but not too bad on the top cap and the rest of the handle. Please note the cap has a ding on one edge.
This razor remains perfectly functional and will shave very well as is.
The box is still in good condition inside, the inking is still legible, but the outside is dry and worn (better not to force it closed with the press stud). There is an original blade-holder box, an empty soap tube and a brush-holder tube with a metal brush (I think it’s not original).
This set is completed by the cardboard shipper. This shipper is still beautiful and almost complete! The razor’s identification code is printed on the bottom of the box, and matches the razor in this set.
