Vintage Gibbs Adjustable Safety Razor

Vintage safety razor, manufactured between 1930 and 1950 by Gibbs in France. Sometimes referred to as “15” and sometimes as “17”, this one is unmarked. Please note that the handle is crimped and cannot be completely dismantled.

Adjustable from 1 to 6 using the ring under the head. The opening/closing mechanism works perfectly, as does the adjustment mechanism (which works well from 1 to 6).

The plastic handle has a slight crack, which is unfortunately common on this model.

This razor uses proprietary blades, but you can easily replace them with standard blades currently available on the market.
