Nice vintage Gillette open comb razor, three pieces with long screw, commonly called “Single Ring”. The razor is all silver plated, with a matte finish, it has a long history but will easily be used again.
The case is the piece de resistance, it is indeed extremely rare. It is most certainly French made. The case does not close anymore, but once opened it presents beautifully.
This razor uses standard size double-edged safety blades.
