Dark Horn Atra Contour Razor – Darwin

Darwin has handcrafted this Gillette Contour razor in France.

Contour razor head

The twin-blade head on this Contour / Atra shaver gives a close shave thanks to its pivoting head, which hugs the curves of the face as closely as possible.

This is an official Schick head, whose quality is renowned the world over (now allied with Wilkinson). The head is in black plastic and gold metal, and comes from an old stock from the late 1990s.

Contour razor handle

The handle is made from real horn and was handcrafted in Thiers, in the same workshop that makes our combs. The razor was then assembled in Brittany by Darwin.

As this shaver is made of horn and hand-assembled, no two are identical. There may therefore be slight differences in weight or size (of the order of + or – 2g or 1mm), as well as in patterns compared to the photo shown. The horn may have white veins and may not be perfectly straight. This is the sign of a natural product.

This head is 100% compatible with Gillette Contour and Contour + cartridges. It is also compatible with other brands: Wilkinson Contact, Schick Pivot, Gillette Vector, Scudo, Euroshop… We sell compatible Contour/Contour+ razor blades here. Reminder: this razor is delivered without blade.
