Vintage PLISSON Shaving Brush with PLEXI handle – boar knot – Size 8

This beautiful shaving brush shows a plexi transparent handle in like-new condition, and a boar knot in bad shape.

Handle height : 41 mm
Overall height : 90 mm
The base of the handle measures 31 x 27 mm.

This brush comes from the old stock of a cutlery in the North of France, the granddaughter of the owner found them while moving boxes out. These brushes are from the 1970s.

Please note, during its long sleep, it might have dried a bit, so some of the boar bristles might break. Also, the metal ring shows some oxydation. This is really intriguing. All the stock came from a shop, the handle is pristine and has the shop label underneath, but the knot looks used… Sold as is.
