Beautiful porcelain moustache cup with historical scene decoration and matching saucer. A ceramic piece inside the cup protects the moustache from any beverage!
The design depicts a picturesque scene showing a group of three Welsh women spinning (marked : Welsh Spinning Party). The design is very rare and still very beautiful. The gilding has faded slightly, particularly on the saucer, but the design remains very beautiful. These moustache cups were often given as travel souvenirs.
