Antique Gardette razor, made in France in Thiers, silver-plated brass model with short screw and open comb. It has a chased handle and an original metal case. The head is marked Gardette Fabrication Française.
The plating on the razor’s handle is a little tired, but that’s nothing to worry about – it’ll last for many years! It uses standard-size double-edged safety blades.
The box is in good condition, see photos. Rare : it still has an original Gardette blade ! This is for collecting / decoration purposes only, I don’t recommend using it. Pop a fresh recent and new blade in this razor and enjoy !
