This beautiful razor is a German razor with no apparent brand name, manufactured in Germany around 1900. This is a generic razor, which was subsequently placed in boxes and cases bearing various brand names for export to different countries, as evidenced by the multilingual inscriptions on the razor:
- Rasoir de Sûreté
- Safety Razor
- Afeitador de Seguridad
- Made in Germany
This vintage safety razor uses single-edged hoe-type blades (forged wedge blades, similar to sections of a straight razor blade).
The razor is in fair condition and still looks very good, but has one fault: the small part that pushes the blade at the back is missing. The price reflects this fault. Supplied without a blade.
The razor weighs 42 g and is 7,6 cm long.
