Antique Barbershop Writing Slate – “Cohens Shaving Parlour”

This magnificent antique barber’s writing desk is made of wood, with colored paint and gilding. It is marked “Cohens Shaving Parlour”. The flat part of the writing tablet has a special coating, a little granulated, which has lived but still looks good.

Dimensions: 69.5 * 57 * 9 cm approximately.

This is not a reproduction but a real original piece from an old English barber shop, I would say from the 1930’s (to be confirmed). Ideal for the decoration of your Barbershop, hairdresser’s salon, or even your mancave.
