A beautiful Gillette safety razor. This is a ‘Sensor’ model, with a grey aluminium and black plastic head, and a handle made of varnished wood and chrome-plated metal.
The razor is brand new; it’s never been used – it’s just being supplied without its box. I don’t think the handle is an official Gillette one, but the head is. I reckon a manufacturer took a brand-new razor, removed the head and fitted it onto a handle they’d made themselves. The razor still has its plastic ‘dummy blade’ in place. This is called an “aftermarket” razor.
Uses Sensor and Sensor Excel blades (sold separately; they’re still easy to find in supermarkets).
The razor is 13 cm long and weighs 27 g.
