Aluminium and nickel-plated metal closed-comb razor

Made by Gillette. New Old Stock condition

This safety razor is brand new and unused! It’s a beautiful vintage model, three pieces with a short screw and closed comb, made by Gillette. The razor handle is in aluminium, the cap and guard plate are in nickel-plated metal. Date code G3.

This razor is NOS (New Old Stock). In fact, it comes from the old stock of a French shop. This razor has stood the test of time, and is ready for service, or to take pride of place in any collection.

Ideal for beginners to traditional shaving, but will of course suit the experienced shaver. The original blades (NOS as well) should be kept for decoration/collection purposes, but not for use.

This set was a display model. Technically, the razor is new old stock and has never been used (as evidenced by its excellent mechanical condition). However, as it was a display model, the cover of the case has suffered a little, is a little stained, and the razor may also have traces (this type of model was not completely sealed), so it will need to be cleaned if you wish to use it. It comes from a shop stock that I recovered, with many displays, display razors, etc…

New old stock (NOS) does not mean flawless. The packaging may have marks, traces, or small tears. I cannot guarantee the proper use of the blades. They are vintage, and we do not know how they were stored. These blades are primarily sold for collection purposes.
