This safety razor is brand new and unused! It’s a beautiful vintage model, three pieces with a short screw and closed comb, made by Gillette. The razor handle is in aluminium, the cap and guard plate are in nickel-plated metal. Date code G3.<\/p>\n
This razor is NOS (New Old Stock). In fact, it comes from the old stock of a French shop. This razor has stood the test of time, and is ready for service, or to take pride of place in any collection.<\/p>\n
Ideal for beginners to traditional shaving, but will of course suit the experienced shaver. The original blades (NOS as well) should be kept for decoration\/collection purposes, but not for use.<\/p>\n
This set was a display model. Technically, the razor is new old stock and has never been used (as evidenced by its excellent mechanical condition). However, as it was a display model, the cover of the case has suffered a little, is a little stained, and the razor may also have traces (this type of model was not completely sealed), so it will need to be cleaned if you wish to use it.
