It feels like a super badger knot).  NOS = New Old Stock  These vintage brushes are from 1980 and come straight from the estate of a family member of Leopold Ascher. Leopold Ascher Brush Corp. of New York, NY was in business from 1888 to 1989 and manufactured several popular lines of shaving brushes including Century and Strong Set. You are buying one brush, but many are available. The Semogue brush is not included, it is shown for scale."}
