Vintage APOLLO “Trompette” – French Mini Safety Razor

Antique Apollo razor, model “Trompette” with open comb. The whole razor is made of silver and chrome plated brass, and has never been used! It has slept for many years in an old factory stock. The plating is gleaming on the head, and left to be finished cleaning on the handle.
Its fluted head has an incredible design, and shines brightly. The handle is the highlight of the show, it is so tiny! Its enlarged shape at the base gave it its name: “Trompette / Trumpet”. This razor is a travel model, but I have never seen a box or set for this particular model. This handle is a genuine Apollo handle, funny as it may be.
WARNING: this razor uses only proprietary blades.
